Warner Bros. Discovery has unveiled the new MAX subscription service, which will be replacing HBO Max. Thus, all HBO titles and discovery reality series will all be available in this new streaming service.
It’s been announced that MAX will release this upcoming May 23, marking the last day before HBO Max and Discovery’s merger. Warner Bros. has also promised an average of 40 new titles and TV show seasons each month.
How Much Will It Cost?
The service is set to have three plans for new subscribers to choose from, they range from:
With Ads- $9.99/month or $99.99/year, which allows you stream in full HD on 2 devices at once.
Ad-Free – $15.99/month or 149.99/year, you can stream in full HD on 2 devices at once and have up to 30 offline downloads.
Ultimate Ad-Free – $19.99/month or $199.99/year, you can stream in 4k UHD on 4 devices at once and have up to 100 offline downloads.
Personal Thoughts
Honestly HBO Max has lately been in a weird state where we’ve had numerous great titles leave the platform. Even so, I’m hoping this merger goes well; and that they keep their word on bringing 40 new titles/seasons each month.
