Last year we didn’t have many great additions to the game pass especially day 1 releases. Additionally with Xbox lacking in the exclusive game department, their only weapon against PlayStation has been its subscription services. However, this time we have some of the best video games coming to Game Pass 2023. Here I’ll just be listing the games release dates, along with their official descriptions.
Monster Hunter Rise
Monster Hunter Rise is the next installment in the Monster Hunter series, bringing players to the colorful village of Kamura. The new spectacle located in the mountains which attracts people with its unique culture as well as its hunting tech is the new playable world here.
Atomic Heart
Atomic heart has seen a lot of drama with its development team recently which has left many skeptical of the game. However, its still worth waiting to see if the game can prove itself to be good. In case you happen to have the Xbox or PC Game Pass, you’ll be lucky enough to get the game for free day 1.
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has been one of many victims to delays from this year, though we might finally play it soon. The game uses a gameplay style that adds the freedom to mix match spells, as well as using them in combos and parries. Along with the addition of martial arts, the game differentiates from the simple move sets you see in soulsborne games.
Amnesia: The Bunker

Hollow Knight Silksong

By continuing the epic action-adventure, following our protagonist Hornet, we delve into more levels of enemies. Similar to its predecessor, the game is also expected to be available day one on Game Pass.
Party Animals
Party Animals is a brawler based multiplayer physics game, similar to Gang Beasts which is available on Game Pass right now. Although, we haven’t had much information as of yet, the developers have updated its release for this year. If it can provide the same amount of enjoyment like Gang Beasts or Fall guys, it’ll be a guaranteed W.
Redfall
An open-world co-op fps game, Redfall pits players against vampires who have blocked out the sun and cut citizens of the island town Redfall, Massachusetts from the outside world. As well as coming from the award winning team behind Prey and Dishonored, has brought the expectations high for this one.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl
The fourth installment to the classic stalker series, Stalker 2: heart of Chernobyl aims to bring players back to the deadly survival experience. Here you’ll discover the vast Chernobyl exclusion zone, which is filled with dangerous enemies, anomalies, and powerful artifacts.
Starfield
Bethesda’s return is coming soon with Starfield, after the bad reception fallout 76 got this game is more important than ever. Though not much official gameplay has been revealed yet, which is a bit concerning since its release is due for this year. Even so, if you’re apart of the Xbox or PC Game Pass you won’t have to worry about wasting money as it’ll be available there day 1.
Multiple Activision games
Once the Activision & Blizzard deal goes through, many games are expected to arrive on Game Pass from these publishers and developers. Many of these titles range from Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Call of Duty and Diablo. While this isn’t confirmed to happen in 2023 yet, there’s still a lot of time for them to announce an actual date.
